is a video art installation that explores the sense of deep interconnectedness with self and its surroundings. The project was part of an online virtual exhibition, A Garden of Echoes, featuring 18 international multimedia artists from 2024-02-01 ― 2024-03-01.

The protagonist, the seagull, flies in the sky. Using new media tools, the movements of the lone seagull are traced out, which visually implies that the bird is flying alongside a fellow bird partner, when in reality it flies alone. This technique plays into the self’s interaction with the environment. Every action, leaving a trace behind it and connected to the journey ahead. The video is displayed in a window frame, which represents a transition from one state to another, emphasizing the connection between two states.

The project also questions the concept of arrival. Does one every truly arrive, or are we in a constant state of flux? With the ability to visualize previous and ongoing movements simultaneously, the project explores concept of transition. What happens as one travels between two states? What is happening that we cannot see?

The cyclical nature of the video sequence outlines an expedition between conscious and unconscious states. Looking at the same thing in different lights.
